
Hip Hop classes are extremely high in energy and your body gets a great workout! This genre is particularly good for group performances. These classes are based on the SADTA syllabus (South African Dance Teacher’s Association). There are 2 levels done each year, with internal exams each June and November. There is also the opportunity for dancers to obtain their Teacher’s Associates in this genre if they complete all 12 levels. The classes cover many aspects of Hip Hop, including Fitness, Technique, Body Conditioning, Body Awareness, Stage Discipline and Choreography. Hip Hop is a huge amount of fun, but students will be challenged physically and mentally. Endurance is the key! |
